Utah Jazz

My boss gave me front row tickets to the Jazz game on Monday night ( im his favorite) I had a hair appt so I couldnt go. The value of the Vip event was over $1200. I tried to sell them but the guy never called me back. So I cancelled my hair appt and went w/ Tiu. It was a lot of fun & im glad we went.

A good friend of mine got married on November 12th in the Salt Lake Temple. She had her luncheon at the Joseph Smith Memorial building, which was fun & her reception was the next day at a really cool venue downtown.

Thanksgiving Weekend

Thanksgiving made for a long weekend with the Richards! We drove down to St. George to spend the holiday w/ my moms parents. We ate a lot of food, watched a lot of sports & rode in a ton of sand! We woke up early and did a little Black Friday shopping too!! After dinner Thursday we waited in line to see The Christmas Carol in 3-D.

Sushi Night

Every year Matt's dad takes all the kids out to a nice dinner. This year we ate at the Asian Star. I suppose they have really good sushi (I dont like that stuff) The rolls just kept coming....

Halloween & Fall Fun

Halloween was fun! Matt's sisters came over and took the kids trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. Eric our bro-in-law sat on a chair, scaring the laughter right out of the kids.

TJ & Alex Davis joined us for fun filled rides & yummy food @ the State fair this year. We had so much fun!!

I had my nieces all weekend so I wanted to take them to Gardner Village for the fun activities they do in October.

Utah State vs SUU

Matts uncle Eddie who use to play for the San Diego Charges is now a coach for the SUU Thunderbirds. They had a game up @ Utah State so he gave us some tickets so we could go support the team. It was a lot of fun and cant wait to go to some home games soon.

A Harley Davidson weekend

A few weekends ago we took a Harley ride up Cottonwood canyon & ate breakfast at Silverfork Lodge. It was a beautiful ride and perfect weather.

Labor Day Weekend

Friday morning I met up w/ my friend Sydney from HS and her daughter Lilee. We spent the whole afternoon shopping.

Saturday Matt took me to Swiss Days and we met up w/ Matt & Kylee Coulam. Bought some more stuff and ended the day @ Tanger Outlets.

Monday we drove to Soldier Hollow for the World Championship Sheep Dog show. We also watched the splash dog show as well. We will be entering our crazy pup Mylee next year. It was a long weekend but we had lots of fun!

Stocking up for winter

We spent two weekends in a row driving to Wallsburg to get our hay for the winter season. Matts uncle, sister & bro-in-law helped us haul a few tons of hay. We are now set until next season!! HOORAY

My little Mia

As most of you know 2 years ago today, I came home from work to find my 6 mo old lab hanging in a tree. She liked to climb out of the yard and follow me to work. So until I bought a dog run I tied her to a tree branch. Well long, dramatic story short she got caught in her rope, a rope toy and a kids rope swing. It spun her right up the tree. So please if you need to tie your pet, put them in a body harness first.

Last Sunday, Mylee & Tucker ripped out of their new palace. We came home from dinner w/ the fam and the dogs were GONE! We searched all night for them...The dogs didnt have any identification on them either (came off in the escape) So needless to say we were freaking out that our dogs were lost and there was no way for them to return to us without tags on. I call the Sandy Animal Shelter first thing Monday morning. They had just received a call on two dogs. Was told to call an hour later once they had arrived in the shelter. I call and it sounds like my dogs, so Matt & I rush down. I knew the second we walked in that our dogs were there. I know my dogs bark when I hear it. We go back to the "jail" and identify them. They were FOUND! Mylee had been hit by a car in rush hour traffic and the person who hit her called the pound. They were picked up by the train station...Where were they planning on going? Took Mylee to the vet and she has staples in her head and stitches all over her legs. No broken bones!! One lucky dog.

This morning while working with the horses Tuck was stung by yellow jackets. He came running up to me and his head looked like a hive. He went between my legs to get them off and low and behold I get stung. Here are some pics of our expensive kids....

Tuckers left eye is swollen and right side of his mouth. He is lucky we have a stash of medicine to help w/ the swelling.

Pupunu Family Reunion

The Pupunu family gets together once a year for a reunion. They fly in from all over the world. Tonga, Figi, Cali etc. There was Tongan food, music and dancing! I had so much fun meeting the rest of his family.
