Happy Birthday Tiu

So today was my wonderful husbands 28th birthday!! Yippee skippee. We had a wonderful day together. I will post pics and more details later I just need to vent a bit. So on our way home from dinner we get a call that our cousins were in a very bad accident (check it on channel 4 tonight @ 10) They were life flighted to the hospital so I go to the scene to take pics. Brand new truck is completely gone. I mean GONE! Cops were being total jerks(you are all getting an edited version) So my two cousins lost their dad in a car accident 2 yrs ago. So this is a touchy subject in the family. Another cousin is at the scene with us and he was telling the cop that the boys' dad was killed in an accident. I mumble under my breath to my cousin that the cops dont care that happened. I know this because I said the same thing to the same cop and he said he didnt care. So after I mumbled they dont care he got in my face and asked me to leave the "crime scene" What crime scene? He had a diabetic seizure! And Im on public property (LDS Church) and outside of the crime scene tape!! So this cop is walking towards me telling me to move and im not going anywhere. He is ready to put me in cuffs because Im "not cooperating" Can someone please explain why cops get to use their authority outside of their leagal boundries and get away with it? Get this....his last name was prettyman!! I intentionally didnt capitalize his last name because he doesnt desearve that! lol thanks for the vent. I needed to prep for my city complaint!!

Go UTES!!

Matt & I went to the U of U basketball game. The Nilsons are season ticket holders. I love going to the games. This game was against Gonzaga. We beat em' in over time!!

Happy Birthday Kate!!

Kate Ryan turned 5!! She acts like she is 12!! She wanted the family to go to Fat Cats for pizza and bowling. So her wish came true. I added a lil' spice and asked everyone to dress 80's style. So my nephew had his 3rd birthday. Matt & I got him a family season pass to the Hogle Zoo and a stuffed elephant. He just loves dinosaurs!!This was the elephant we gave him to go along w/ his season pass to the zoo...

WALKING WITH THE DINOSAURS

A FEW DAYS AGO, I HAD AN EMERGENCY PATIENT COME INTO OUR OFFICE WITH A BROKEN TOOTH. IT JUST SO HAPPENS THAT HE IS A DINOSAUR IN THE PRODUCTION GOING ON AT THE DELTA CENTER THIS WEEK. HE GAVE ME A BUNCH OF TICKETS TO THE SHOW. SO MY HUSBAND, PARENTS AND CO-WORKERS ALL ATTENDED. HE GOT US GREAT SEATS, AND THE SHOW WAS PRETTY COOL.

"Get Some"

So after work last week, Matt and I went to "get some" (its an indoor shooting range) to practice our mad shooting skills. Our good friends Luke, Rachel, Brad & Carissa all joined us. We had so much fun shooting...better purchase your guns now before obama tells ya you cant!!

My Birthday

So this was the first time ever that I have had to work on my birthday. I managed to get through the work day thanks to my friend Jacci. She sent me my favorite dessert! CUPCAKES from SO Cupcake. They were delish!! I came home and my cute husband had all of my birthday presents wrapped up all cute! He did a good job as he always does. He spoiled me and made a point to have Christmas and my birthday a separate celebration! My parentals then came over and gave me their gift. This year my dad picked my gift out. He always does a great job too! He got me so waders that I can go duck hunting in & fly fishing!! They also got me a killer camo backpack that has a camelpak built in. Can't wait to go hiking!! We went to one of my favorite places to eat, then Matt & I went to a friends wedding! All in all I had a wonderful day.
